White Pocket
You may think Nathan had to travel to a land before time to shoot these “cauliflower rocks,” but he only had to travel to the American Southwest. Located inside the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in Arizona, Nathan was drawn to this landscape, which has been eroded by wind and sand, as a contrast to the Grand Canyon, which was eroded by water. Nathan visited this location on several occasions to capture a sky striking enough to complement the majestic formations below them.
