Toroweap

By Nathan Myhrvold
Limited Edition

Toroweap Overlook is located deep within the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and is only accessible by vehicles with 4-wheel drive. In Paiute, toroweap means “dry or barren valley” however, those aren’t the words Nathan would use to describe this location’s dazzling views. With incredibly stunning and exquisite landscapes in every direction, Nathan had a hard time picking a single place to shoot. He ended up shooting panoramas of the vast area and then cropping the photos in different ways until he created a photo that best reflected the drama of this vista in real life.

Aspect Ratio: Panorama
