The Grand Canyon offers endless landscapes to admire, but you’ll have to travel to the less frequented North Rim to see this specific view. The North Rim requires a high level of diligence and persistence to photograph because the weather can be challenging. Nathan endured plenty of hail and high winds waiting to capture this brooding moment, including one particularly stormy day where he had to physically stabilize his gear and hold on to some items so they wouldn’t get taken by the wind and tumble into the canyons below.
