OVERVIEW

The sky grew dark and ominous, casting an eerie light over this ocher mountain in California. In a matter of minutes, a rain curtain fell from dense clouds that dumped a powerful downpour on the terrain below, all the while offset by crepuscular, or “god,” rays on the left.
