The Cordillera del Paine mountain range is a majestic and awe-inspiring sight located in the Torres del Paine National Park, in the Chilean Patagonia. The range is a collection of towering peaks, jagged spires, and expansive glaciers that stretch for over 111 miles (180 km). The peaks are made of granite, giving them a distinctively sharp appearance. The Cordillera del Paine is a popular destination for hikers, mountaineers, and adventure seekers who come to challenge themselves in its rugged terrain. Nathan hiked one of the trails with a 600 mm lens while trying to photograph the pumas that live in the foothills of these mountains. Late in the afternoon, the winds changed and Nathan was able to capture this clear view of snow-dusted mountain peaks framed by storm clouds.
